Container haulage
Offer a first class Container Haulage Service throughout the UK. Operating predominantly from our head office near to the Port of Felixstowe we can also offer coverage from the ports of London Gateway, Tilbury, Southampton and across the UK.
With a range of standard and specialist equipment we are able to cover both basic and complex requirements. From single container deliveries to in-house contracts, no job is too big or too small.

Wagon And Drags
These vehicle are amazing for that small delivery point (Household or small works unit) and can also carry a second delivery on the trailer to help save costs and efficiency which we can pass to our customers.
Reefer (Genset) Trailers
Our reefer trailers are a cost effective way to allow us to plug in your Reefer Containers without the additional hassle and extra cost of lifting a genset on and off. Our under chassis mounted genset allows us to carry 45ft/40ft and 20ft Reefer containers
Side lifter Trailers
Our side lifter trailers are a great cost effective and safe way to unload cargo at floor level. Our Megalift trailers allow us to lift 45ft/40ft single 20ft or 2x 20ft containers, We can lift up to 35 tonnes trailer to trailer, trailer to rail, For more information CLICK HERE for our Leaflet
Multifunction Trailers
We operate a number of multifunction trailers which give us the ability to work with a number of different container combinations. Allowing us to save cost, which we can pass on to you.
Drop & Swap Capability
With an extensive fleet of standard sliding skeletal trailers, we are able to offer a drop & swap solution at your customer’s premises. Increasing our flexibility and improving turnaround times on your customer’s site.

OpenUltra utilise the latest state-of-the-art technology both in our vehicles and in our office.
From vehicle telematics and tracking through to Customer Portal access and back-end integration, we are able to keep you informed of the progress of your containers at every stage of the process.
Vehicle Tracking
As well as allowing us to locate our vehicles, calculate ETA’s and provide accurate ATA information, we can also ensure that your load remains secure at all times.
Telematics
Intelligent vehicle telematics monitor our drivers throughout their journey. This ensures not only the safety of your load, but helps us to reduce our impact on the environment and keep costs down for us all.
TOPS
Using the TOPS suite of applications we are able to provide integration with your systems to allow automation of bookings, callovers, delivery status’s and invoicing. Real-time data is received from our drivers allowing you to see the current status of your delivery.
EPOD
Handheld delivery device – giving Live data, Instant Proof of Delivery.

About Us
The owner Mark and Amanda started their journey in Road Transport in 1992 where they started* Gipping Transport Services, running containers out of Felixstowe and curtainsider distribution. Due to the success of Gipping Transport in 2009 they acquired Openultra to further expand their operations. From there they have grown and expanded Openultra Felixstowe Limited into what it is today.
